Inch Guide and Bit Selection:
68 Joint Sizes to Choose From!

The chart below lists the standard joint sizes you can rout on the FMT/Pro, and the joint guide and bit(s) you'll need to rout them.

All 21 joint guides are highlighted in green (1/4"), orange (5/16"), blue (3/8") and yellow (1/2") in the first column. Each guide used with the matching bit size can make 21 standard joint sizes. For example, a 5/16" guide used with a 5/16" bit makes a 5/16" joint.

You can rout 47 more standard joint sizes by using two different bit diameters with the

guides listed. These additional standard joint sizes are shaded in grey. For example, to rout a 1/8" x 9/16" joint, find that size in the 1/8" joint size column. The mortise bit size is 1/8" (the mortise is always the smallest bit diameter) and the tenon bit size is 1/2". Locate the joint guide size of 5/16" x 3/4" to the left in the "Guide Size" column.

Note: Utilising the table movement expands the number of joint sizes infinitely. See Production Routing and Small & Miniature How-To pages for more info.

Note: Guides and stands are also available individually. In North America contact Leigh, or internationally contact your local distributor.

Metric Guide and Bit Selection:
79 Joint Sizes to Choose From!

The chart below lists the standard joint sizes you can rout on the FMT/Pro, and the joint guide and bit(s) you'll need to rout them.

All 24 joint guides are highlighted in green (6mm), orange (8mm), blue (10mm) and yellow (12mm) in the first column. Each guide used with the matching bit size can make 24 standard joint sizes. For example, a 6mm guide used with a 6mm bit makes a 6mm joint.

You can rout 55 more standard joint sizes by using two different bit diameters with the

guides listed. These additional standard joint sizes are shaded in grey. For example, to rout a 4x16mm joint, find that size in the 4mm joint size column. The mortise bit size is 4mm (the mortise is always the smallest bit diameter) and the tenon bit size is 12mm. Locate the joint guide size of 8x20mm to the left in the "Guide Size" column.

Note: Utilising the table movement expands the number of joint sizes infinitely. See Production Routing and Small & Miniature How-To pages for more info.
