LEIGH D1600 DOVETAIL JIG

The Leigh tradition of excellence continues! Leigh Industries is proud to introduce the newest member of its family of fine woodworking tools, the D1600 Dovetail Jig.

The Leigh D1600 incorporates many of its big brother's capabilities all in a package smaller than the D4R but long on performance. Through, Half-blind, Sliding, Angled, Rabbetted and End on End joints are all easily routed on the D1600.

The heart of the D1600 is a one piece aluminium extrusion, precision CNC machined on both clamping surfaces. Machined side stops ensure perfect joint alignment every time and the workpiece is held firmly in place against the textured clamping surface with the Cam Action Speed Clamps.

Like the D4R, the D1600 fingers are infinitely adjustable. Great looking joints with perfect half pins at each end are easily routed on any board width. Precise scales make adjustments easy, accurate and repeatable. Icons on the scales indicate the active jig mode.

Add it up and dovetail joinery is made easy with the D1600. Please read on.

The D1600 requires a router with a ½" or 8mm collet to use with the included 8mm shank cutters. A ½" to 8mm collet reducer is included as standard equipment.
